Roof Leak

Homeowners do their best to spot problems and rectify issues.  Unfortunately, for this homeowner, a leaking roof due to severe wind and prolonged rains caused ‘unnoticed” issues since the walls were covered with wallpaper.  Here, SERVPRO of Northern Las Vegas used a Thermal Imaging camera to identify potential issues from the recent storm.   Our thermal camera and moisture detection equipment quickly determined the storm had indeed damaged the drywall, base board and insulation.  SERVPRO of Northern Las Vegas went to work and removed the damaged materials, cleaned the structure and completed the dry-out.  Upon completion, SERVPRO of Northern Las Vegas utilized 6 millimeter plastic sheeting to help keep the cold winter elements out!
